Dear recovering people pleaser,Setting your first boundaries is a really challenging and unsettling time that comes with a lot of fears and worries.What if my boundaries are too harsh? What if people think I’m mean or selfish? What if they don’t want to hang out with me anymore ? What if they get mad at me?I hear you, it is indeed pretty scary… ❤️The bad news is that if you’ve been a massive people pleaser, people around are used to discarding your needs. So they’ll probably get a negative reaction at your change of attitude, a reaction that might make you feel uncomfortable.The good news is though, that it’s a perfectly normal process where you will be able to readjust your relationships with your closed ones and discover genuine people who are willing to listen and respect you.So hang in there and you’ll see that on the other side of the wall, you’ll find nothing but caring and supportive relationships, self-love and fulfillment ✨#peoplepleaser #boundariesarehealthy #mindsetcoach #healthyrelationships

Getting through autumn (a lesson on hyperproductivity) 🍂At the beginning of October I had a scooter accident, which although not very serious, meant I had to be off work for two months.Having injured my knee and my right hand (I’m right-handed), I couldn’t get around too much anymore, no more driving, no more sports and everyday tasks were harder to carry out.I found myself contemplating my empty schedule for a while and forced me to face up to my hyperactivity.As my therapist would say: sometimes life makes things perfectly. You couldn’t take a break and rest, and now you’re forced to stay in bed 😬This opened the door to new reflections on my need for hyper-productivity, on how I manage my free time and boredom. And in spite of myself, I’ve had to learn to slow down 😌I spent afternoons sculpting (even though I was terrible at it), going for walks or simply enjoying my tea with a bit of music. Something I hadn’t done for a long time 🍂I wouldn’t wish an accident or illness on anyone. But in the end, I’m grateful to have had this experience that put my life on hold for a moment.And that leads me to humbly ask you this question:• What would you do if you suddenly had to do nothing? The Good Girl diaries_ep03 : Good newsIn a society where we compete to be the happiest, it’s not always easy to show our true emotions and talk about the negative. And yet, it’s not good to keep it inside.It saddens me to see so many women hiding behind a mask of positivity for fear of being considered annoying, difficult, over-emotional or pessimistic, when their sensitivity and vulnerability is a strength.What’s the point of pretending of hiding the beauty of your complexity?Too often, we hear “keep smiling” and “stay positive” as a way of making us feel guilty about expressing our negative emotions.Freeing yourself from the “good girl” syndrome also means fully accepting when you’re not feeling well, and not being ashamed to talk about it.And maybe, with time, morals will come to accept that it’s better to be honest and authentic than positive.#goodgirl #toxicpositivity #peoplepleaser #womanempowerment #hypersensitive

Just feel 😌⭐️Are you the kind of person who talks a lot about your emotions but can’t seem to get out of them?⭐️Or do you often find yourself locked in an endless loop of procrastination and paralysis?⭐️Do you sometimes experience strong, unexplained emotions such as bursts of anger, anxiety or crying?This could be a sign that you’re not taking the time to FEEL your emotions.Nowadays it is common to think before feeling. And as much as it is important to understand and intellectualize your human experiences, your body mainly regulates itself by externalizing emotionally.No need for talking or thinking for hours and hours.You simply need to take the time to feel and recognize your emotions. Sit down, breathe and focus on your body.Ask yourself what’s the emotion you’re experiencing and where do you feel it in your body. Then release it.And remember…Unprocessed emotions always come out in compulsive thoughts, strong uncontrolled reactions, physical pain or even chronic illness.Your emotions are your friends not your ennemies, so set them free✨#emotionalwellbeing #nervoussystemregulation #feel #procrastination #emotions

Keep the peace 🕊️People who feel bad about themselves will constantly compare and project their insecurities onto others by judging and gossiping.And unfortunately, I plead guilty to having been one of those people ✋🏻As hard as it is to say it now, I was one of those girls who can’t help but talk about other people’s lives and judge the people around to make herself feel better.But deep down, it always sounded wrong.And as my self-confidence grew, I wished to free myself from this bad habit and get away from the fake and toxic relationships that surrounded me.So here’s my tips on how to break this bad habit and create a safe and genuine social circle :- cultivate as much as possible self-acceptance and self-esteem, and in particular free yourself from negative self-talk- become aware of the reasons why you judge others, and what the recurring themes are, as this is a way of finding out what you’re repressing inside yourself- take a step back and understand that saying bad things about someone or judging them is nothing more than a sign of your own unhappiness and insecurities.- immediately disengage from discussions about other people’s lives, and stay away from people who can’t help themselves from being negative and creating dramas.- build relationships with people who are not based on gossip and trash talk but rather on shared interests or supportive and positive discussions.To free ourselves from the gaze of others is also to free others from our gaze ✨#gossip #negativeselftalk #healthyrelationships #confidencecoach

The Good Girl Diaries_ep02: To be selfishWe’ve all grown up with a certain idea of what a good person is. And that often comes down to being a selfless person.Unfortunately, it’s very common to confuse altruism with people pleasing. And because of this confusion, thinking about oneself and prioritizing one’s needs can create guilt.But being a good person shouldn’t harm our health or make us feel bad. That’s why it’s more than okay not to share your kindness everywhere and all the time.You have the right to say no and make choices that make YOU feel good.It’s not selfish, on the contrary. By being more selective, you keep the energy you need to be fully present and authentic in your interactions with the people you care about.Keep in mind that you can’t give your energy to others until you’ve recharged yourself first.You’re also someone who needs your kindness.#peoplepleasing #confidencecoach #selfish #motivation #goodgirl

When I left for Asia two years ago now, I didn’t want to go alone. I asked several of my friends to come with me, but to no avail.
Everyone had other plans in mind, and I found myself faced with a choice: either go alone, or give up.And that’s when I thought: I’ve only got one life. And if I spend it waiting for someone else to follow me in my projects, I may never do it.• Was I terrified before and during? Yes.
• Would it have been easier with someone else? Yes.And yet today I’m deeply happy to have had this solo experience, because it made me grow so much.Doing things alone is hard, and throwing yourself into the unknown, no matter what your desires and plans are, is just as hard.But the worst thing is to live with the regret of not having had the courage to pursue your dreams, because you don’t trust yourself.Fear makes us overestimate risk and underestimate our ability to face it.And you are capable of sooo much more than you think ✨#solotravel #doitscared #mindsetshift #empowerment
